I have 5 children’s books I have written. I need advise on copyrights for them?
I have gone to the Library of Congress Copyrights site and was not sure were I should have gone from there, there is so much info to choose from. I would like to have my books copyright, and desire greatly to publish them with voice audio and music.
If you self published, which is what I assume you did, it’s wicked easy. all you have to do is print out the TX or short TX form and the Form Con forms that are on the site, fill them out, and send in 45$ for each, and a nonreturnable copy of your work to the Library of Congress address.
there is no short cut, unless you have an agent…and you make the agent do it for you or they were published by a publishing house….if they were done through a publishing house, then they took care of it for you.
